Privacy Policy

Prompta is a voice-tracking teleprompter operated by Bueno Concepts LLC (“Prompta,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information we collect

• Your email address — used to sign you in with a one-time code and to sync your scripts across devices. We do not use passwords.
• Your scripts — the titles and text you write. If you have a paid subscription, these are stored so they sync across your devices. On the free plan, your scripts stay only on your device.
• A display name — only if you choose to enter one.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
• Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you use the site, used for security and reliability.

Your microphone / voice is never recorded or stored. In Voice mode, speech recognition runs live in your browser only to scroll the script as you speak. The audio is not sent to us and is not saved anywhere by Prompta.

How we use your information

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To save and sync your scripts (paid plans).
• To process your subscription and free trial.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers we rely on

We share the minimum data needed with a few trusted processors:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database, and content delivery.
• Stripe — subscription payments and billing.
• Resend — sending your sign-in code emails.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in after you enter your code. It contains a signed session token and no advertising or tracking data. Without it, sign-in cannot work.

Data retention

We keep your account and scripts for as long as your account is active. Sign-in codes expire within minutes. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account record and stored scripts.

Your choices and rights

• You can edit or delete any script at any time inside the app.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from Manage Billing.
• You can request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account, by emailing us (below).

Children

Prompta is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

Sign-in uses one-time codes and signed session tokens, and payment data is handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Prompta after a change means you accept the updated policy.
