1. Write

Create a script and write or paste your words. Prompta saves as you type, right on this device.

2. Start the prompter

Hit Start. After a 3‑2‑1 countdown, your script fills the screen.

3. Just speak

In Voice mode, Prompta listens and scrolls as you talk. Pause, and it waits for you. Skip a line, and it catches up. (Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time — the audio is used for scrolling only and is never recorded or stored.)

Modes

Voice — follows your speech (the magic). Auto — scrolls at a steady speed you control. Manual — you scroll by touch or arrow keys.

Tips

Tap the screen to pause and resume — the controls fade away while you read, so nothing sits between you and your words. Lost your place? While paused, tap the exact word you want to start from and Prompta picks up right there. The gear opens text size, mirror flip (for teleprompter rigs), and themes — yes, including Code Rain mode.
